Tammy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from UCLA in 1991. She went on to earn her Master’s degree from University of Pacific in 1993. She has continued her education with a special interest in orthopedics and sports medicine. Tammy enjoys developing individualized programs for all age groups to help them return to their active lives and encouraging them to maximize their potential.
Tammy has a special interest in ACL injuries and lower extremity biomechanics. She has attended a series of patello-femoral/knee injuries and functional biomechanics of the lower quarter continuing education courses. Although her interests lie with the lower extremity she excels at manual therapy and functional rehabilitation in all areas of orthopedic injuries.
Tammy grew up in the bay area, and when she is not at PT Works, she loves spending time with her husband and two children. Many days you will find her running, skiing, or enjoying being active outdoors. She belongs to the West Valley Track Club.
