Michelle has been an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist for 10 years. She received her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley with an emphasis in Molecular Cell Biology (Immunology), and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UC San Francisco/SF State University.
Michelle is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS), and is also ICLM certified (International Certification in Lymphedema Management, Leduc Method). When treating patients, she believes that manual therapy, a well-tailored exercise program, and patient-therapist collaboration can maximize the patient's function and lead to lifelong benefits.
Michelle grew up in the Bay Area, but loves to travel. Some of her other interests include hiking and baking (it’s all about balance!), and she is currently enjoying learning how to play golf. She's always looking to try new experiences and adventures, whether it's a new recipe, sport, or PT skill!
