Michelle received her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley with an emphasis in Molecular Cell Biology. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UC San Francisco/SF State University. There she had the opportunity to work in a variety of patient settings, as well as participate in lab research focusing on neonatal stroke and its effect on the brain. She enjoys working in the outpatient setting with both orthopedic and neurologic populations, and is also ICLM certified (International Certification in Lymphedema Management). When treating patients, she believes that manual therapy, a well-tailored exercise program, and patient-therapist collaboration can maximize the patient's function and lead to lifelong benefits.
Michelle grew up in the Bay Area, but loves to travel. Some of her other interests include baking, hiking, and outdoor activities in general. She's always looking to try new things, whether it's a new recipe, sport, or PT skill!
