Experience Effective Physical Therapy

Michelle received her undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley with an emphasis in Molecular Cell Biology - Immunology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UC San Francisco/SF State University where she had the opportunity to work in a variety of patient settings, as well as participate in lab research focusing on neonatal stroke and its effect on the brain. She enjoys working in the outpatient setting with both orthopedic and neurologic populations.

Michelle is a Board-Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS), and is also ICLM certified (International Certification in Lymphedema Management Leduc Method). When treating patients, she believes that manual therapy, a well-tailored exercise program, and patient-therapist collaboration can maximize the patient's function and lead to lifelong benefits.

Michelle grew up in the Bay Area, but loves to travel. Some of her other interests include baking, sport climbing,  and outdoor activities in general. She's always looking to try new things, whether it's a new recipe, sport, or PT skill!
